The first ever real money I ever made at age 15 back in 2001 or so, I spent on a Gameboy Advance and both of these games, before any actual GBA game. It was awesome I never finished the second game though because ai managed to get raw egg inside the cart which short circuited the game. years later it started working again as the egg was completely dried up. Save was ruined though and I had to replace the battery.

I bought Oracle of Ages and one of my relatives bought Oracle of Seasons. We promised that when we had finished the games I give my Oracle of Ages to him and he gives Oracle of Seasons to me so we can finish both games. I finished Oracle of Ages in couple of months but he got bored and never finished Oracle of Seasons. And he refused to give his unfinished game to me. So probably I just have to finish both of these games on an emulator one day.

I totally agree with the decision to redesign Candy Kong in the "Donkey Kong Country" cartoon... EDIT - Also, mix Funky's bleached blond fur from the show with his outfit from DKC3... EDIT - the unused "Fedora Kong" character should also be wearing a version of DK jr.'s outfit, because THAT's who he is... EDIT - Swanky should stick with his *DKC3* outfit...

the oracle games are definitely my favorite 2D zelda games, and I’m very much hoping for a remake similar to Link’s Awakening for both of them sometime in the future (PLEASE Nintendo)

I think one of the most interesting things about these games is Death Mountain. After OoT introduced us to Gorons, Death Mountain was their home. Before... It was the "lair of Ganon"

Why do people put Seasons first ? Half of the action in Ages takes place 400 years earlier, therefore Ages is chronologically first.

May sound dumb, but I would love for a game in the style of Link's Awakening that either, just combines all 3 games into one massive adventure non-stop, gives it the Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury where in the tittle screen you select which game to play (tho these 2 options just kills the bringing back the third game idea in exchange for QoL improvements when linking both adventures) or create an entire new game that takes on the role of finishing the story left untold after all these years, maybe Echoes of Wisdom may be that third game most likely it won't tbh, but one can only dream.

I now love you. You have no choice. For I am also quite fond of the original links awakening on the gbc. It was my first Zelda game and now I own almost every Zelda game. Links awakening is always my top favorite. Twilight princess is second

I think the thing that makes the most sense is that these games take place before Minish Cap. Link and Zelda already know each other in that, Minich Cap is another Capcom developed Zelda game, and the prologue to Minish Cap hints at the existence of a version of Ganon before the events of the main game. I know people like to treat the official timeline as 100% canon and it can't be changed in any way, but... Nintendo has already changed it at times, and if a change makes the games make more sense, I don't see a problem with it. And, uh... As for Link's Awakening... I don't think it has to be connected to the Oracle games. The ending of the Oracle games definitely hints at it, but it's not necessary for them to be connected or for it to be the very same Link in Link's Awakening. It would work fine, I just... Don't like it. But I'll have more opinions after the new game, Echoes of Wisdom, comes out.

I hope he was returned to normal after Link beat Majora. Here, it looks to he the opposite. He's turned into an old man (somehow), and she's not into it.

Apologies but I found your calling of them “the triforce series” jarring because I remember these games being referred to in gaming magazines at the time, in the UK at least, as the Mystical Seed Series. You can still see the logos for the Oracles games each have a seed on them which is a holdover from this original names.
